Privacy policy
Effective October 21, 2026
Tendcamp is a habit tracker for iPhone. We built it to keep as little about you as possible. This policy explains what the app stores, where it lives, and how you can delete it. If anything here is unclear, email support@tendcamp.com.
The short version
- Your habits are stored on your phone. You don’t need an account to use Tendcamp.
- If you choose to Sign in with Apple, a copy of your camp is stored on our server so it can be backed up and synced.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and we never sell or share your data.
- You can delete your account and all of its server data from inside the app at any time.
Data stored on your device
Tendcamp keeps its data in a private database on your iPhone. That includes:
- Your habits: name, emoji, whether each one feeds the fire or the food basket, which days it’s due, and its order.
- Which habits you completed on which days, used for your calendar, streaks and stats.
- Your settings: reminder on/off and time, sound, and reduce motion.
- App state, such as whether you finished onboarding and the day your camp began.
This data never leaves your phone unless you sign in. Deleting the app deletes it. It may also be included in your own device backups (iCloud or computer), which are governed by Apple.
Reminders
Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone. We don’t use push notification servers and don’t collect a device token. You can turn reminders off in the app’s Profile, or in iOS Settings.
Optional Sign in with Apple and sync
Signing in is optional and only happens if you tap Save your progress in Profile. We use Sign in with Apple, and our backend is provided by Supabase (hosted in the United States). When you sign in, we store:
- Account details from Apple: a unique account identifier, and the email address Apple shares with us. If you chose Hide My Email, that’s a private relay address. If you shared your name the first time you signed in, we store it to show in your profile.
- Your camp: the same habits, daily completions, and settings described above, plus the day your camp began, so they can be restored and kept in sync between devices.
- Basic technical records our hosting provider keeps to run and secure the service, such as sign-in times and request logs.
We use this data only to provide backup and sync. Access is restricted so that each account can read and change only its own data. We never see your Apple password.
What we don’t do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No selling, renting or sharing your data with data brokers or advertisers.
- No location, contacts, photos, health or microphone access.
Deleting your data
- Delete account: in the app, open Profile and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and all of its server data (habits, history and settings) and also clears the camp on that phone. It can’t be undone.
- Log out: stops syncing. Your habits stay on that phone, and your server copy stays until you delete the account.
- Without an account: deleting the app removes everything.
- You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for Tendcamp in iOS Settings under your Apple Account, Sign in with Apple. To delete server data, use Delete account in the app or email support@tendcamp.com.
Retention
Server data is kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete your account. Short-lived operational logs kept by our hosting provider expire on their own schedule.
Children
Tendcamp is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data. Most of these you can do yourself in the app; for anything else, email support@tendcamp.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
